Stage 1 - 440kw
Stage 1 for the 5.0 litre Miami engine that powers the GT and GTP involves the SCT X3 Ford Flash device. The X3 allows Autotech to reprogram the factory ECU (computer), enabling higher power levels, combined with better driveability and fuel economy. The X3 can also store up to 3 different tunes for different applications or fuel types.
Stage 2 - 460kw
The Stage 2 Kit for the 5.0 litre Miami engine that powers the GT and GTP includes the SCT X3 Ford Flash device and a high flow twin 2.5 inch stainless cat back exhaust system. This custom made exhaust frees up gas flow and allows the supercharger to spool up quicker for better throttle response and improved fuel economy.
Stage 3 - 535kw
The Stage 3 Kit for the 5.0 litre Miami engine that powers the GT and GTP addresses the limitations of the non-intercooled engine, it’s fuel supply and allows it to run more boost to take the power over 500kw. The Stage 3 kit includes the following components:
