BA TYPHOON Kits
FPV continued its heritage with the original BF Typhoon powerhouse engine and added even more power. The BF Typhoon takes the XR6 Turbo to the next level with improved performance, braking and handling.
Stage 1 - 310Kw+
Stage 1 for the BF XR6 Turbo and Typhoon involves the SCT X3 Ford Flash device. The X3 allows Autotech to reprogram the factory ECU (computer), enabling higher power levels, combined with better driveability and fuel economy. The X3 can also store up to 3 different tunes for different applications or fuel types.
Stage 1 also includes high flow 60lb injectors that are used to overcome the limited factory injectors on the BF Xr6 Turbo.
Stage 2 - 350Kw
The Stage 2 Kit for the BA Xr6 Turbo includes the following components:
- SCT Xcal 3Ford Flash Tuner
- 60lb High Flow Injectors
- Cold Air Intake
- 2.5 inch Stainless Exhaust system
Stage 3 - 400Kw
The Stage 3 Kit for the BF XR6 Turbo includes the all components from the Stage 2 kit and the following additional components:
- High Flow Intercooler
- Turbocharger Wastegate porting + Upgraded Actuator
- Battery relocation kit
- Replacement High flow Fuel pump
- Extreme flow Cold Air Intake
Stage 4 - 400Kw+
While the FG F6 comes with a set of stronger rods, when chasing power levels in excess of 400kw Autotech recommend rebuilding your engine. Autotech have extensive engine rebuilding services that can meet your requirements if you are after more power.
