GS 5.4L Boss (FG) Kits
Released late in the life cycle of the Boss engine, the GS 5.4ltr engine still has the potential of its GT and GTP big brothers. Given the right mods, it is a car that offers great bang for buck for Ford fans.
Stage 1 - 320kw
Stage 1 for the 5.4 litre Boss engine that powers the GT and GTP involves the SCT X3 Ford Flash device. The X3 allows Autotech to reprogram the factory ECU (computer), enabling higher power levels, combined with better driveability and fuel economy. The X3 can also store up to 3 different tunes for different applications or fuel types.
Stage 2 - 330kw
The Stage 2 Kit for the 5.4 litre Boss engine that powers the GT and GTP includes the SCT X3 Ford Flash device and a high flow twin 2.5 inch stainless cat back exhaust system. This custom made exhaust frees up gas flow and a cold air intake is also added to ensure the engine has proper breathing capacity to maximise power.

Stage 3 - 375kw Extreme Kit
The Stage 3 kit for the 5.4 litre Boss engine includes the following components.
- SCT Xcal 3Ford Flash Tuner
- High Flow Twin stainless steel exhaust
- Herrod Cold Air Intake
- Plenium Throttle Body
With the optional addition of cam shafts the down low and mid range torque is vastley improved. Idle quality with cams make it sound like a old school V8.

Stage 4 - 420kw Extreme Kit
The Stage 4 kit for the 5.4 litre Boss engine includes the following components.
- SCT Xcal 3Ford Flash Tuner
- High Flow Twin stainless steel exhaust

- Yellatera Supercharger
Optional extra with Herrod Cam Shafts.
