Autotech Engineering offer two stages of Automatic transmission rebuilds for the 4 speed Automatic Transmission in the Xr6T, GT and Xr8 vehciles. • Stage 1 iincludes modification of the Valve body in the transmission to ensure that the gear changes are firmer. It also includes the installation of an oil cooler for the transmission to ensure it remains cool. This stage of modificationcan provide excellent results for people wanting extra performance out of standard automatic transmissions. • Stage 2 includes a total rebuild of the transmission including kevlar bands and clutches. An optional 2800 stall converter is available for higher stalling of the engine. This stage of modification is recommended for highI power levels that are associated with turbocharged engines that provide plenty of torque at all RPM levels. • Manual Transmission Modifications. Autotech Engineering can supply an dfit heavy duty clutch upgrades for 4 speed, 5 speed and 6 speed manual transmissions.
