12.10.05 - Autotech Engineering wins 'Champion of Champions' 2005 Small Business Award
Autotech Engineering has just won the Champion of Champions 2005 award for Small Business in Automotive Services. Besting 5 other finalists, the Automotive Services award is for recognition of Autotech Engineering’s success as a small business in serving both its customers and the community in New South Wales.
The Champion of Champions awards, which are sponsored by Westpac, CPA Australia, MYOB, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Department of State and Regional Services, is in its 7th year of recognising the contributions of small business to the community and celebrating their achievements. The awards presentation was held at the Star City Casino on Saturday November 5th and was attended by over 220 businesses who were ‘Champion of Champions’ finalists.
Spiro Papadimatos, the owner and proprietor of Autotech Engineering, acknowledged the award as recognition of the performance of each of the staff at Autotech Engineering, crediting them as the reason for the business’ success.
Autotech Engineering began as a one man business in 1993, renting premises in George St Granville and has grown to its current state where it employs 14 people and features a full automotive workshop including 8 hoists, a 4wheel drive dynamometer, an exhaust workshop and extensive equipment used in the maintenance, manufacturer and tuning of both standard and high performance automotive vehicles.
The success and recognition of the Champion of Champions 2005 award follows the previous success of Autotech Engineering in winning the Holroyd Parramatta Business Award for Outstanding Automotive Services in 2005.

8.07.05 - Autotech wins Holroyd Parramatta Business Award for Outstanding Automotive Services in 2005
Autotech Engineering have recently won the 2005 Holyroyd Parramatta Business Award for Outstanding Automotive Services.
To become finalists, local small businesses were nominated by customers. Anonymous judges are assigned to inspect all finalists' businesses based on a customer's viewpoint regarding service, general appearance, range of products, value for money and customer relations.

6.07.05 - Autotech Engineering Subaru STI runs 12.4 Quarter Mile at WSID
Autotech have just returned from the Western Sydney International Dragway after recording a 12.4 Quarter Mile at 107Mph in their Subaru STI, thanks to Daniel. This STI has an APS front mount intercooler, air intake and Unichip installed and made an impressive 180rwkw at all four wheels. This takes the stock car from the 14's into the low 12's for just $4600 worth of modifications! Look out for more news on this great run shortly!

29.05.05 - Autotech Recieves its test APS Twin Turbo Monaro sedan
APS have just completed installation of their Twin Turbo intercooled system on Autotech's own LS1 V8 Monaro with astonishing results. The yellow Monaro looks almost identical to what it was when Autotech purchased it from the Holden dealers, but now the true potential of the LS1 V8 engine has been unleased with the APS Intercooled Twin Turbo System. With very low boost the car now has just under 400rwkw - which is awesome power by anyones standards, yet it retains the smoothness of stock idle quality and runs like an everyday car.

17.04.05 - Autotech Engineering Dyno Day for Ford Forums.com.au
Was a great sucess with over 30 cars hitting the dyno between 8.30am and 2.30pm. Cars ranged from EB twin turbo Ford Falcons to XR6Turbos, a BMW 330CI and a HSV Clubsport! Power ranged from 125rwkw right up to 320rwkw. Be sure to check out all the images and info in the Photos section of the website here.
