In standard form, the vehicle produces approximately 230kw of power at the flywheel, which translates to 180-190kw at the rear wheels. APS capitalises on an excess of air pressure available from the stock turbocharger - a design feature Ford engineers specified to ensure the engine comes on boost very low in the RPM range. As the turbocharger has the capacity to produce over 650HP, it is this factory under-utilization of boost pressure that allowed APS engineers to design a range of packages to build the power to an astonishing 500 flywheel kw and beyond!
Details of the kits are as follows:


This is the entry level APS kit and is designed for consumers who are looking for a modest power gain from their T. Comprising a Unichip supplementary ECU, electronic boost controller and a set of APS multi-orifice injectors, the kit, once fitted and dyno tuned to your vehicle, will raise the power from 230kw (flywheel) to 300kw.
This package is virtually plug and play - a specially constructed wiring loom is also supplied, allowing the Unichip supplementary ECU to plug into the existing wiring harness, so no cutting of wires or modifications to the vehicle are required to effect installation, which only takes a few hours to complete.

Designed for serious power increases, the Phase II delivers crisp throttle response coupled with massive torque, excellent drivability and the potential to run 12 second 1/4 mile times. All in a package that is fuel efficient and street legal!
The kit comprises a Unichip supplementary ECU, electronic boost controller a set of APS multi-orifice injectors, APS cold air intake and a 3.5" to dual 2.5" full stainless steel turbo back exhaust system, including high flow catalytic converter. Once fitted and dyno tuned to your vehicle, it will raise the power from 230kw (flywheel) to 330kw. Installation takes one day, including specialised tuning by Spiro.


This kit takes Ford performance to stellar levels - a blistering 390Kw on tap leaves all others in its wake. Capable of pushing the vehicle to 11 second quarter mile times yet the vehicle retains stock-like drivability. until you stand on the throttle and all hell breaks loose! And by way of APS' superb engineering, the vehicle is totally street legal and complies with all relevant ADR (Australian Design Rules) 79/00 assuring customers of peace of mind when modifying their vehicles.
Smart Power, that's what the APS PHASE III High Output System is all about. By adopting a total system approach APS delivers phenomenal power utilizing a relatively conservative turbo pressure level - and consequently lower thermal and mechanical engine loads than others who use high risk strategies of higher turbocharger boost pressure to achieve a similar power result.
PHASE III smart power also means improved throttle response and great day to day driveability Along with crisp turbocharger response, a tidal wave of torque and tyre frying horsepower, the APS PHASE III High Output System delivers relaxed cruising, excellent fuel economy and a huge shot of adrenalin every time you lean on the throttle.

To cope with increasing levels of torque from the Ford T6 and V8 engines, Autotech can offer solutions for both manual and automatic transmissions. These options can increase the performance and driveability of your car when you plan to increase its engine performance.
Automatic Transmission rebuilds. Autotech Engineering offer two stages of Automatic transmission rebuilds for the 4 speed Automatic Transmission in the Xr6T, GT and Xr8 vehciles.
Stage 1 iincludes modification of the Valve body in the transmission to ensure that the gear changes are firmer. It also includes the installation of an oil cooler for the transmission to ensure it remains cool. This stage of modification is recommended for Phase II power levels in the Xr6Turbo or typically up to 270rwkw
Stage 2 includes a total rebuild of the transmission including kevlar bands and clutches. An optional 2800 stall converter is available for higher stalling of the engine. This stage of modification is recommended for Stage III power levels in the XR6Turbo or typically 270rwkw or above in the Xr6Turbo, Typhoon, XR8 or GT.
Manual Transmission Modifications. Autotech Engineering can supply an dfit heavy duty clutch upgrades for the 5 speed and 6 speed manual transmissions.
